One of the buildings I walk by on the way to the office. I like walking to work....especially when it's at 10:30 in the morning! Boy, they are civilized here!

At the end of the street that my hotel is on (about 100 yards from the hotel.) I walk by this every day. This is City Hall. Notice the cannon on the left - used during the Crimean war.

Hehehe. They don't call me "Shaky" for nothin! (There are lights strung on the trees in front of my hotel, and with a slow shutter speed it looks like this!)

This is what the street in front of my hotel is made of. They are digging it up for some reason - these hand-cut rocks would be worth a fortune back home!

This is a huge entrance to a huge building - it used to be a philharmonic hall, but now it's used as some kind of stock exchange. I tried to get the ceiling in the shot, but it was too large, and didn't come out well if I pointed straight up. You could drive two semi's stacked on top of each other, with trailers, up this entrance.
