Lunch at a very nice, authentic Ukrainian restaurant. (R-L) Irina, Sergey, and Vladimir took me to this restaurant. This is the same place I ran by a few days ago and took a picture of - see 4May pictures.

Appetizers. Pickled peppers, bread, and vegetable platter containing small apples (like crabapples), pickles, mild pickled cabbage, tomatoes. Notice the small plate to the left of the bread. It contains two small bowls. The upper-left bowl contains an herb butter. The lower-right bowl contains another traditional spread for bread: lard.

Traditional soup: Borsch This is ALWAYS wonderful wherever I get it, and here it was especially great.

Decorations in the restaurant. Reminded me of the Old Spaghetti Factory on Green St. in SF.
